Speciality Bread
What is Sourdough? In a nutshell, sourdough is slow-fermented bread. It’s unique because it doesn't require commercial yeast in order to rise. Instead, it uses a ‘starter’ – a fermented flour and water mixture that contains wild yeast and good bacteria – to rise. This also produces a tangy flavour and slightly chewy texture. The naturally occurring acids and long fermentation help to break down the gluten, making it more digestible and easy for the body to absorb.
Because of it's slow fermentation period we need a couple of days to prepare your order - order by Wednesday for delivery on Friday
